Frank and Virginia Winters
Sextons

Frank L. Winters, Jr., and Virginia Bolling Winters have served as Sextons at First Presbyterian since 1999, keeping our church sparkling clean and setting up Fellowship Hall and other areas of the church for meetings and special events throughout each week.
Frank was born and raised in the Newton-Ransom area. After graduating from Newton-Ransom High School, he spent two years in the U.S. Navy, then worked as a plant and production manager, retiring in 1994. For five years he worked part-time handling maintenance for Camp Lackawanna, which is owned and operated by The Presbytery of Lackawanna.
Virginia was born and raised in Scranton. She graduated from Central High School and from Moses Taylor Hospital School of Nursing, then worked as a registered nurse until her retirement in 1994.
Virginia and Frank married in 1953 and have five sons, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Both have served as ordained Elders and Deacons and teach Sunday School classes at the church. Virginia has also served as moderator of the Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian Church, Clarks Summit.
