Following worship, we offer a special educational program for March 1st and March 8th.
The Discovery of Trinity, and What it Means for Us Today” 1700 years ago, in 325 CE, the Christian Church met to argue about God. The result was the Nicene Creed, which for the first time articulated that Christians believed God was Triune. We affirm this belief today, but what does it mean, and why does it matter, then and now?
- Sunday’s topic: “Why were people arguing about God, and what was the outcome at Nicea?”
- Next week: “How does the belief that God is Trinity inform our faith today?”
