Around the world, millions of people lack access to sustainable food sources, clean water, sanitation, education, and opportunity. Your support of the One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) serves individuals and communities in need.
As part of our Mission & Justice ministry, FPCCS partners with Hickory Street Presbyterian Church to support their community meals program offering nourishment, dignity, and compassion to our neighbors in need.
We will take our next turn helping Hickory Street Presbyterian Church with their community meals program on Saturday, March 23. We will again be seeking volunteers to prepare the entrée (ground beef stroganoff), a vegetable side (broccoli supreme), bake or purchase the desert (pumpkin pie), and help serve the meal that day.
We are also collecting bags of groceries to give away that day and history tells us we will need at least 35 of these, each containing the following items:

The Blue Note Jazztet specializes in the finger-snapping tunes from the venerable tradition of the Blue Note record label . This is hard-swinging and accessible music, mostly from the 1950’s and ‘60’s.
All are welcome to join us on March 21st, from 9:00 am—12:00 pm we will be
packing boxes at the CEO Weinberg Food Bank in Pittston. Sign up in the Narthex or call the office.
We will host a L.I.F.T. (Living in Faith Together) program after worship on Palm Sunday.
