Worship Through Service

September 21-22, 2019

This year's Worship Through Service Day  is the weekend of September 21-22, 2019. Our Session committees, the Deacons, and other groups within the church have chosen several activities and projects to allow all ages and abilities to participate in community service. Each church member (and non-member as well) is  encourged to work on an activity particularly of interest. We all work together to serve others, living our faith, following Jesus' example.  Contact the office at 570-586-6306 for details and to sign up.

Projects are:

  • On August 25, bring personal care items and non-perishable food items to be donated to Safety Net in Scranton.  Ites will be sorted and packed on Sunday immediately following worship (see below)
  • On Saturday, Sept 21, pack boxes at the Weinberg Food Bank, Pittston
