Choirs and Music
At First Presbyterian Church we offer an opportunity for every voice to sing God’s praises through our excellent and varied music program. Our musical groups and choirs, led by professional and volunteer musicians, perform in a wide variety of musical styles (and languages!), with at least one group or choir participating in each service.
All choirs meet regularly on Wednesday evenings for practice, and new musicians (members and non-members alike) are always welcome to join in.
Choir "season" generally runs from September through May of each year. Our church is blessed with several choirs which participate in worship.
We also enjoy the wonderful sounds of a 1922 Möller pipe organ.

Presbybop Quartet (and friends)
In addition to the above choirs, our church is blessed to have the Presbybop Quartet make First Presbyterian their “home” for rehearsals and for presenting music from time to time.
This group of jazz musicians, dedicated to creating jazz music to glorify God, periodically performs during worship and other events. Featuring the keyboard work of Rev. Bill Carter, Presbybop albums and songs are available at both CDBaby and iTunes. Click here to visit the Presbybop Quartet Website. www.presbybop.com
